MoneySense Research Panel
The MoneySense Research Panel is the largest survey ever
undertaken in the UK into young people's behaviours and attitudes
towards money.
Over two thirds of young people surveyed say that their money
management skills have improved during the recession.
Fewer young people reported receiving a regular amount of money
each month in 2009 compared to 2008 and 2007.

Many young people taking part in the survey had an increased
understanding of the importance of managing their money and an
improved attitude towards saving money. Others were more interested
in family finances and had discussed finances with their
parents.
