Tendering for a contract

A new tender

You're the owner of a successful business, and you've been invited to tender for a new contract.

There's a lot to do! You'll need to decide on a name, plan what you'll offer to excite the client and work out what you'll charge.

Before you start, your teacher will give you your brief. With all this to do you'll need to work as a team, so your first task is to decide who will take on each role. Explore each role description and responsibilities and use the personality quiz to assign them in your team.

Assign your team roles

<p>You will need to fulfil the four following roles in your tender bid team. Use the each role sheet to work together and |share| information and ideas. Every role should contribute to team meetings and take part in your final presentation.</p>


Manager

<p>You will supervise the team and make sure every task gets done on time, bringing out the best in your team.</p>

Consultant

<p>You will recommend what equipment to choose and what products or services you'll offer.</p>

Marketer

<p>You will come up with creative ways to promote and launch your new business.</p>

Finance officer

<p>You will manage your team's budget and complete your cost sheets.</p>
